I hope Kerry makes a big deal out of this in the campaign. I think if the public sentiment comes to "Bush & co endorsed the use of torture, it wasn't a few 'bad apples'," then either (1) we'll throw the bums out of office or (2) America, as I once knew it, will be a nostalgic memory, like Mayberry, RFD.
