Not turning him on, though maybe that, too. I mean realizing they've been duped. His approval ratings are at their lowest, and disapproval is at 52%. And maybe it's just because Kerry isn't bothering to campaign in California, which is squarely in his pocket, but it seems like he hasn't really even begun to campaign in earnest yet.
This should be Kerry's race to lose -- though I don't underestimate the ability of the Democratic Party to do just that.
