This weekend, the Giants and Dodgers meet in a key diamond tilt. The NL West is on the line, and the loser of this series might not even make the playoffs.
I am a lifelong Dodgers fan. And I have recently joined the Oakland Athletics bandwagon after reading "Moneyball." (Buy it!) Yet, as this scribe from San Francisco writes, West Coast ball gets scant attention back East. I've had enough of the Yankees and Red Sox. Bring on L.A. vs. S.F.
